A Dog Daycare Counselor is responsible for the daily supervision, care, and safety of dogs at the daycare facility. This role involves monitoring playgroups, ensuring dogs are properly socialized, preventing conflicts, and providing a clean, healthy environment. Dog Handlers must be attentive, proactive, and knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language. Duties also include feeding, administering medications as directed, cleaning play areas, and engaging in structured activities like playtime, basic obedience training, and enrichment exercises.
Responsibilities:
• Walk dogs in clients neighborhood
• Pick up dogs meet other team members at a local trail for an adventure walk with the dogs then drop off the dogs at their home.
• Provide exceptional pet care and handling for dogs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage in dog training and behavioral management to promote positive interactions.
• Drive to clients homes to walk dogs and/or pick up dogs for adventures
